We are going into the 9th year already! The annual Global ManuChem 2020 is coming back as the leading event for manufacturers in the chemical industry. It brings together over 150+ manufacturing, supply chain & engineering leaders who are responsible for process optimization, digital manufacturing and excellence strategies in their companies. Exchange your knowledge, share your insights and strengthen your capabilities in a unique interactive event format to be prepared for changing markets, disruptive technologies and increasing demands in the chemical industry!

Here we share with you an exclusive video case study from Stephan Krebber, Program Director Digitalization Production and Technology – VP at Covestro, where he discusses the topic “Technological Transformation with OSI2020 and IPEP.”

In this case study, Stephan Krebber focused on the discussing the Optimized System Integration (OSI) & Integrated Plant and Engineering Platform (IPEP) simplify and significantly improve the handover and updating of data, and reduce the likelihood of errors.

IPEP creates a digital platform on which all data relating to the entire plant is stored and connected. This allows to considerably improve the cooperation and handover process involving internal and external employees during the development and operation phase.
